This year, we had the opportunity to be an exhibitor at the largest expo in the Saurashtra region, the Saifee Burhani Expo Kathiyawad in Jamnagar. The expo was held from January 15th to 17th, 2023 and brought together exhibitors from all over the world.
Over 220 exhibitors showcased their businesses, which ranged from hardware, healthcare, food, packaging, IT services, fashion, beauty care, and real estate.
At first, we were a bit sceptical about the visitors and benefits we would gain as an IT company, since the expo primarily featured product-based businesses including manufacturers and retail outlets. However, as the days progressed, we received a number of interesting inquiries.
These inquiries varied from building a B2C startup website to large-scale B2B applications. Visitors from Jamnagar and Daudi Bohra communities from all over the world showed interest in our services and we were able to generate multiple leads.
We learned that each interaction with entrepreneurs from different businesses helped us understand a new aspect of the industry and taught us how we could modify and incorporate their concepts and principles into our own business. Additionally, we were able to showcase and offer the integration of our services into their businesses.
Overall, it was a great experience for us and we received unexpected leads which we hope to convert into business. Not only did this expo help market our business, but it also provided a new perspective on the industry we should explore.
